It seems as if not a day goes by that we don't hear about a credit card security breach happening somewhere in our metropolitan area. So if you are as anxious to learn about the latest developments in credit card processing security, as well as what to do if the unthinkable breach occurs, then make plans to join us Tuesday, May 28, 2013 when Larry Newell and Michael Springer of Brown Smith Wallace will offer their expertise on keeping credit card data confidential.

Points they will cover include PCI basics, Changes to PCI regulations given the recent breaches, Action steps nfp's should take once they become aware of a breach, Steps merchants take leading up to notifying nfp's of a breach, and The role finance has in communicating the breach to donors.
We will end the meeting by comparing notes on how we manage credit card donations.
